Who Is the Cast of Stars on Mars?
The Vanderpump Rules cast member and The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum are set to appear in Stars on Mars, an unscripted competition series in which contestants will try to achieve an "outer space" victory. Tom and Porsha will compete against 10 other celebrities across the sports, music, and acting realms: The players are professional cyclist Lance Armstrong, comedian Natasha Leggero, actress Ariel Winter, former NFL running back Marshawn Lynch, actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon, WWE star Ronda Rousey, NFL free agent Richard Sherman, singer-songwriter Tinashe, and artist/entrepreneur Tallulah Willis.
What Is Stars on Mars?
According to Deadline, the contestants will trade in their celebrity status and comfy lifestyles for a demanding and unpredictable time on Mars. Well, not exactly, but they’ll definitely get the Red Planet experience. In addition to enduring conditions that simulate life on Mars, the players will have to occupy a single space station, where they will eat, sleep, and strategize to become the last “celebronaut” left standing.
Star Trek’s William Shatner will serve as Mission Control and present each episode's assignments. The contestants will then have to use their strength, brain power, and social skills to successfully complete each mission and survive the weekly elimination vote.
Porsha teased the series in a couple of Instagram posts earlier this week. One featured the Stars on Mars promotional clip (a nod to the Star Wars opening crawl), while the other showed The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum rocking a space suit.
"Next Stop Mars," she captioned a post. "In a galaxy not so far away..."
Stars On Mars premieres on Fox this June.
Other Bravolebs Set to Appear on The GOAT: Cast and Show Details
Earlier this week, Amazon Freevee announced it had greenlit The GOAT, another reality competition show featuring familiar faces within the Bravoverse. Vanderpump Rules alum Kristen Doute, Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan, and The Real Housewives of New York City alum Jill Zarin will compete in a series of physical, mental, and social challenges to earn the “greatest of all time” title. They will have to outlast a cast that includes Tayshia Adams, Joe Amabile, CJ Franco, Wendell Holland, Teck Holmes, Justin Johnson/Alyssa Edwards, Paola Mayfield, Da’Vonne Rogers, Joey Sasso, Jason Smith, and Lauren Speed-Hamilton.
Variety reports The GOAT will premiere later this year.
