Lala Kent Shares a Major Update on Her Dating Life: "I'm Very Excited"

Lala Kent is back on the dating scene. The Vanderpump Rules cast member recently opened up about her love life and her return to dating again following her breakup with fiancé Randall Emmett — with whom she has a daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett — after nearly five years together.

"I'm going to spill tea right now," Lala said while hosting a style segment on Amazon Live on January 28. "I have a date tomorrow night. It's a group date," she said, adding, "I've said on my podcast a million times, I'm not ready to go and date. But I feel like this will ease me in because it's a group setting.

She held up a white halter top she planned to wear on the date, going on to add, "The guy is fine, and I may have to wear this."

In addition to revealing her possible outfit for the upcoming date night, Lala also shared some details on the mystery man. "He is very tall. He is built, like Superman, and has a lot of tattoos. And I like that. And he's gentle. I'm very excited."

Lala also took time to answer questions during her Amazon Live, including one about her 10-month-old daughter, Ocean. After a viewer asked why the Give Them Lala beauty founder chose the name Ocean for her daughter, Lala answered, "I’m going to be honest. I chose it because I saw a yacht that had the name Ocean on it. I was like I love that name, I’m obsessed with the Ocean. That’s the name. I actually chose that name like four years ago.”  

Speaking of Ocean, Lala recently revealed how much her daughter has helped her maintain focus and get through challenges she has faced following her split with Randall during the two-part Vanderpump Rules Season 9 reunion.

In response to host Andy Cohen's question about what is getting Lala through these current difficult times, she shared, "You know, my baby. And with everything that's going on, I just feel really grateful."
