Carlton Gebbia Comments on Her Divorce: "U Broke My Heart"

It's official. Carlton Gebbia and David Gebbia's divorce has been finalized, with the judge signing off on the settlement on Thursday, September 20, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Carlton and David announced their separation in August 2016 as they were nearing their 18th wedding anniversary on September 19 of that year. A rep for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum confirmed to The Daily Dish at that time that Carlton and David were "separated but living together under the same roof for the wellness of their children." Carlton and David have three children together: daughters Destiny and Mysteri and son Cross.

David officially filed for divorce in November 2017, citing irreconcilable differences. Carlton and David put their mansion (yes, the one with the burlesque room, as seen on RHOBH) on the market for $22 million in May.

Carlton commemorated what would have been her 20th wedding anniversary earlier this week on September 19, posting a photo of a black rose with the caption "Happy Anniversary #20yrs" on Instagram.

She later commented on her divorce being finalized in a post on Instagram. "Guess I’m the last to find out ... officially divorced I think now the Games begin," she captioned a photo of herself and David. "U broke my heart."

Carlton also suggested that she was caught off guard by the divorce becoming final on Thursday. "They say today is a New day I’d like to [see] some f---ing unicorns please," she captioned a photo of two rainbows over a mountain on Friday, September 21. "Yes I knew it was coming just not so swift [#newbeginnings]."

However, Carlton's days have been filled with happy moments, too. Her daughter, Destiny, made her New York Fashion Week debut in the Romeo & Juliet runway show earlier this month. Carlton also got her glam on at the 70th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday, September 17.
