Tamra Judge Teases That the RHOC Season 17 Reunion Got “Heated”
The RHOC cast member revealed that she had an unexpected clash with a close friend.
The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 17 is still in full swing, but cast members Tamra Judge, Shannon Storms Beador, Heather Dubrow, Gina Kirschenheiter, Emily Simpson, Jennifer Pedranti, and friend Taylor Armstrong gathered on September 7 to film the reunion.
After the day concluded, Tamra teased what RHOC fans can expect to see from the Season 17 reunion.
Tamra Judge reflects on the RHOC Season 17 reunion
Tamra, who returned to RHOC for Season 17 about three years after leaving the show, revealed that she “forgot how hard it was” to film the reunion during a recent episode of her podcast.
“It was, leading up to it, so stressful for me. More stressful than normal,” Tamra said. “I mean, I’ve had my bad years where it’s been brutal, and this wasn’t exactly a horrible year for me, but it wasn’t a walk in the park.”
The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum the shared why the day was so “stressful.”
“I had a lot of explaining to do,” she said.
Though she repaired her friendship with longtime pal Shannon when Season 17 commenced, Tamra confirmed that things aren’t entirely smooth sailing for them at the reunion.
“You will see in the reunion, me and Shannon go up against each other a few times,” she added.
When asked to tease the reunion in three words, Tamra said, “It was heated, because they’re all heated, right? I feel like there was a lot of resolution, and I feel like there was a lot of… there was some dirt brought up, so dirty.”
Andy Cohen and the RHOC cast tease the reunion
Tamra wasn’t the only person on set who had something to share about the RHOC Season 17 reunion.
Reunion host Andy Cohen posted a selfie teasing a sneak peek at the reunion set on his Instagram Stories on September 7.
“Reunion day,” he captioned the shot, which you can check out below.
Ahead of the taping, a few of the cast members spoke about their expectations for the reunion too.
“I’m ready, yeah,” Gina said on the September 6 episode of WWHL before addressing her ongoing feud with Shannon. “I’m looking forward to seeing Shannon, yeah, because I’m going to say everything that I have to say there… It’s gonna be a day.”
On the same episode of WWHL, Emily said that she also felt “ready” to see the other women on set.
“I’m bringing my popcorn and my tacos and my turkey sub,” she joked.
Taylor, who was a friend of the ladies on Season 17, wanted to see some resolution between Shannon and Gina.
“I think that Shannon has a lot of history with Gina that I’m just learning a lot about,” she said on the September 5 episode of WWHL. “I’m looking forward to airing it all at the reunion.”
