Meet Rod, one of the three new additions to the Southern Charm cast for Season 9.
Ba ba doo, ba ba dee… Southern Charm is back.
A trailer for Season 9 of the Bravo original dropped on August 3, and it shows returning cast members Shep Rose, Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Madison LeCroy, Leva Bonaparte, Venita Aspen, Olivia Flowers, and Taylor Ann Green living it up (and engaging in some drama) in Charleston.
From chatting about Austen’s rumored hook-up with Taylor, to seeing exes Taylor and Shep in bed together, there’s a lot to unpack in the Season 9 teaser clip — including the arrival of three new faces.
Jarrett Thomas, Rodrigo Reyes, and Rod Razavi are all joining the Charleston crew for the first time on Season 9, and it won’t take long for them to get involved in the aforementioned drama.

Who is Southern Charm Season 9 cast member Rod Razavi?
Rod is new to the group, but he’s been living in Charleston for more than 18 years. Per his official Bravo bio, Rod “considers himself to be a true Southern gentleman and social butterfly, making friends everywhere he goes.”
A singleton, Rod is interested in pursuing a romance with Olivia Flowers on Season 9. In the trailer, the pair can be seen sharing a kiss while sitting together on a bench.
The press release adds, “Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential Southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.”
Will Olivia’s recent split from Austen get in the way of her burgeoning connection with Rod? In the trailer, Rod tells Austen that he “went out with Olivia” and has plans to ask her out.
The TropHop creator is at a loss for words, to say the least. Fans will have to tune in to find out if Rod and Olivia are a match made in heaven, or if the group dynamic is about to become even more complicated.
What is Rod Razavi’s job?
The Charleston resident is a computer programmer, and he’s currently a director at ChemoCars. He’s been at the nonprofit, which provides free Uber and Lyft rides to cancer patients who are going to chemotherapy, since 2017.
When does Southern Charm Season 9 premiere?
You can catch up with the returners and see the new additions make their Southern Charm debuts when Season 9 premieres on Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
