Shannon Storms Beador Reveals How Her Daughter Adeline Is Doing After Moving to New York for College
The RHOC cast member had a surprising update about Adeline following her move to the East Coast.
Less than a week after Shannon Storms Beador shared a look at her twin daughters’ heartfelt goodbye before heading off to separate colleges, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member has an update on how one of her girls is doing.
Shannon’s youngest kids will be in different parts of the world for their freshman year, and she just revealed how Adeline is adjusting to life in New York City.
Shannon Storms Beador’s Update on Adeline Beador
On August 22, the RHOC mom posted a carousel of photos of her enjoying a meal at Tao with Adeline and another mother-daughter pair.
In the caption, Shannon offered some insight on how Adeline has been enjoying her move to the East Coast (she will be studying at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan in the fall).
“Adeline is loving NYC!” Shannon wrote.
In the comments, Adeline added a red heart emoji and the raising hands emoji.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Shereé Whitfield showed support for Adeline in the comments, writing, “Best of luck[,] boo.”
Shannon Storms Beador’s Twins’ College Journeys
On RHOC Season 17, viewers have seen Shannon encouraging Adeline and her twin sister, Stella Beador, to prepare their college applications. While Shannon wanted to hire a college counselor to help her daughters polish their applications, Stella and Adeline didn’t see the need.
“College counselors help you figure out where you want to go, but I already know that,” Adeline said on Season 17 Episode 7.
“No, college counselors create a unique application so that you can get into school, because there’s a lot of competition,” Shannon responded. “So you need to have one.”
While viewers have yet to find out what happened next in the twins’ application process, they do know which schools Stella and Adeline decided to attend.
As previously mentioned, Adeline will be a student at Parsons. Her twin sister selected the University of Southern California (USC), which is Shannon’s alma mater.
Though USC is somewhat close to home for the Orange County residents, Stella will actually spend her freshman year in Paris, France, as part of the USC Trojan Transfer program.
On August 17, Stella and Adeline said goodbye to each other for the semester.
“Today is a very emotional day,” Shannon wrote on Instagram. “I am headed to NYC with Adeline to take her to school. The twins will not see each other until Christmas break and are going to miss each other beyond! Their bond is so precious!”
“I am so excited to watch my girls move on to the next chapter of their lives but I am definitely going to be shedding a lot of tears in the next week!” she continued.
Shannon may have been preparing for an emotional week, but it looks like Adeline is adjusting just fine to her new chapter at the moment!
