Sarah Jessica Parker Sends "Love and Condolences" Following News of Kim Cattrall's Brother's Passing (UPDATED)
Chris Cattrall had been reported missing since January 30, before his death was announced on February 4.
UPDATE (Feb. 6, 2018, 5:35 P.M.): Kim took to Instagram following the wave of support she received after she confirmed her brother's death on February 4. The former SATC star wrote, "I would like to thank my fans, friends, and my #SexandtheCity colleagues for the outpouring of support for myself and family over the last 72 hours."

Sarah Jessica Parker has sent her respects to her former Sex and the City co-star Kim Cattrall, whose brother Chris Cattrall's death was announced on her Instagram feed on February 4.
"It is with great sadness that myself and my family announce the unexpected passing of our son and brother, Chris Cattrall," Kim wrote. "At this time we ask for privacy but we want to thank you all on social media for your outpouring of love and support in this trying time."
According to Us Weekly, SJP left a comment on the Instagram post that says, “Dearest Kim, my love and condolences to you and yours and Godspeed to your beloved brother. Xx.”
Cynthia Nixon also left condolences on the Instagram post, saying, "Hey Kim, Such awful news. So sorry to hear. Sending you love. XO."
Chris Cattrall, 55, was reported missing since January 30 before he was found dead on his rural property in Alberta, Canada. His cause of death has not been disclosed, but a representative for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police disclosed that it was not suspicious.
