Candiace Dilliard Bassett Marks a Major Milestone in Her Career: “This Is Only the Beginning!”

A big mazel goes out to The Real Housewives of Potomac's Candiace Dilliard Bassett who just marked a pretty major moment in her music career. She shared the news of the milestone achievement on Instagram this week — and teased that there's much more to come.

"Woke up to some AMAZING news! My debut single 'Drive Back' has hit well over a million streams," she shared this week. "NONE of this would be possible without all of you. Trust me when I say this is only the beginning!"

She also shared more updates about her 2021 album release, Deep Space, noting, "Is it…enough for you? [Deep Space] is available (now at over 2 million streams and counting) on all streaming platforms."

In late 2021, Candiace shared a few hints at what she was planning next in her music career in an interview with Sheen magazine. "I’m really excited to continue promoting my debut album, Deep Space. Every time I listen to it, I feel like I discover something new! Every week I have a new favorite song. I’m so excited to release my third single and visual entitled 'Is it Enough?' This song is sultry and sexy and inspirational and definitely has anthemic qualities that will make anyone want to talk their ish!," she said back in October. She added, "I feel like there are no limits and I’m going to continue testing that theory as far out and as high up as I can go."

Since dropping the Deep Space album, Candiace has released several visuals off of the album. In addition to the video for "Drive Back" (which, of course, included cameos from several RHOP cast members), she's released a music video for "Is it Enough?" as well as videos for "Benefits" and "Benefits (Part II)," the latter of which features Q Parker.

And if you're ready for more, well then get ready. In her Instagram that she posted on Wednesday (February 9), Candiace added, "I have a very special announcement coming to you all this week!"
