Ashley and Luke bundled up to show support for his home state's NFL team, the Minnesota Vikings, on December 17.
Spending the Holidays Together
Ashley and Luke are already full of the holiday spirit. The two attended a festive party on December 7, with Luke dressed as Santa Claus and Ashley as an elf. Read about the date here.

Bravo fans can’t stop talking about The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby and Winter House’s Luke Gulbranson, but can you blame them?! The two have been spotted together on several occasions ever since Ashley declared her interest in Luke on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, and even when they’re not together, that doesn’t stop them from talking about each other.
As such, it can be hard to keep up with the latest on the pair. That’s why we’ve rounded up everything you need to know about Ashley and Luke’s budding connection. Read on for all the updates as well as a timeline of events!
Ashley Shares an Update
Ashley revealed on the November 7 episode of Hannah Ferrier’s podcast that she and Luke are “getting to know each other” by “texting and talking” after meeting at BravoCon 2022, where their time together was “very innocent.” (More on that below.) She also described Luke as “very funny” as well as resourceful and handy. “My grandfather was very handy like that,” Ashley added. “Like, the house that I grew up in, my grandfather built it. Growing up, he was always building things, fixing things, and chopping wood outside. So to see someone like that, I’m like, wow, like, I recognize that.”
A Weekend in D.C.
Luke visited Ashley in Washington, D.C., the weekend of November 5. There, they attended a Washington Capitals hockey game one day and a Washington Commanders football game the next. Summer House fiancés Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard attended the football game with Ashley and Luke, and all four Bravolebs could be seen dancing to Beyonce’s “CUFF IT” in a TikTok shared by Ashley.
Insight on Their Status
During an appearance on the November 3 episode of WWHL, Luke said he and Ashley stayed in touch after BravoCon by texting and chatting on FaceTime. The two had even texted that day, with Luke revealing, “I asked her what I should wear today, and she told me what I should wear. And I didn’t listen.”
Luke also told Andy that Ashley had recently sent him a snippet of her covering a Chris Stapleton song. “It was great,” he said.
New Details
Though Ashley had previously talked about the time she spent with Luke at BravoCon, it wasn’t until she appeared on Hannah Ferrier’s podcast that she spilled the deets. “We did the After Dark party together, which was incredible,” Ashley said. “So we were really feeling it and dancing, having fun. And then afterward we went to an after-party for Saturday Night Live… so we hung out there for a little bit.”
That’s not all, though. Ashley continued, “So after the last night of BravoCon, Luke invited a bunch of Bravo people to this little Canadian bar that he knows. So a bunch of people from Southern Charm and also from his show, Summer House. And we’re all just there hanging out, it was a bar full of Bravo people. I just had a great time and that was how we left it. So literally, like, no kissing or anything.”
The First Sighting
Ashley and Luke were first spotted together at BravoCon’s After Dark event presented by Bud Light Seltzer, so naturally, she was pressed for details during a panel the following day. “Turns out we have a lot of common interests, like we both like horseback riding and hiking,” Ashley responded. “A girl don’t kiss and tell, babe. Can I plead the fifth?”
A Funny Moment
In a separate conversation at the BravoTV.com digital interview stage that same day, Ashley revealed that her night with Luke included a “really embarrassing” moment. “I was like, ‘Are we friends, or are we friends friends?’” Ashley shared, explaining that after “over 10 years” with Michael Darby before their recent separation, talking to men feels “a little foreign” to her. “He laughed at me,” Ashley admitted. “In my face. Because I looked like an idiot. Who says that?”
Where It All Began
Believe it or not, it was a WWHL fan who first suggested that Ashley and Luke get together. Andy agreed it was “a good idea” and promised to play matchmaker at BravoCon 2022. And the rest is history!
