This Video of Shane Simpson Proves Emily “Married the Right One”
The RHOC cast member captured a funny moment with her spouse.
Emily Simpson is offering a cute peek into her relationship with husband Shane Simpson. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently shared proof that she “married the right one” by capturing a funny moment with her spouse on Instagram.
On June 29, Emily shared a clip capturing Shane putting his lightsaber-wielding skills on display. “Post a video of your spouse proving that you married the right one,” she wrote alongside the hilarious video.
Emily explained her choice of video in the caption. “Ladies! It’s important to marry someone who makes you laugh every day,” she wrote, also adding a laughing face emoji.
She went on to jokingly add, “He might’ve even said something like ‘can I put my light saber in your Death Star?’”
Back in April, Emily reflected on celebrating her marriage to Shane with a dreamy wedding photo shoot, as captured in the RHOC Season 16 finale. "13 years ago Shane and I were married at the Bellagio in Vegas…unfortunately we never had any wedding photos and I've always felt a little sad not having beautiful photos to commemorate that day," she captioned caption the April 13 post featuring several heartwarming captures from their gorgeous photo shoot.
Emily continued to explain the "compromise" she reached with her hubby, adding, "Shane was adamant about not having a vow renewal so we compromised and 're-did' our wedding photos as our family photos this year. It was such a beautiful and perfect day and I’m so happy our children were able to be a part of it and were so excited to be involved.”
She concluded her post by expressing her gratitude for the occasion, writing, "This is just a reminder that there is no 'right' way to celebrate your love and commitment. I'd never heard of anyone 're-doing' their wedding photos and I basically made up the idea, but I felt like it was perfect for our family and our relationship and now I have the most beautiful photos.”
