Faye Resnick Looks Back on Her RHOBH Days: “I’m Not Really in the Drama”
We also found out where the RHOBH alum stands in her friendship with Kathy Hilton today.
Throughout her multiple cameos on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle Richards’ bestie Faye Resnick weathered everything from Season 1’s “Dinner Party from Hell” to Camille Grammer calling her “morally corrupt.” Even so, Faye still looks back fondly on her RHOBH days — for the most part, anyway.
When Kathy Hilton and Crystal Kung Minkoff appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’s August 10 episode, Faye was seated in the audience next to Rob Minkoff. During the WWHL After Show, Andy Cohen took the opportunity to ask her if she’s “happy to have been around the ether” of RHOBH, noting that she’d been “in the middle of some drama in the past.”
Faye’s response? “I’m a designer, so I’m not really in the drama, honestly,” she said. “But I love everybody that’s part of the show… most everybody that’s part of the show. So, it’s amazing.”
Meanwhile, Andy also asked if there was anything she wanted to plug, to which the Beverly Hills–based Faye Resnick Design owner replied, “Kathy [and] Crystal.”
Indeed, Faye’s sole purpose for jetting from the 90210 to New York City was to support the RHOBH cast members, as she revealed in an August 12 Instagram caption. “Girlfriend trip to NYC with my beautiful girl [Kathy Hilton] for her appearance on WWHL with gorgeous [Crystal Kung Minkoff],” she wrote, adding a double heart emoji and also tagging her husband, Rob. The collection of photos included everything from being backstage at the Clubhouse to sitting next to Kathy on an airplane.
After one Instagram user commented that Kathy “is such a beautiful lady inside and out,” Faye agreed, replying, “Yes she is.” Though Kathy did not weigh in on Faye’s post, Crystal, for one, appreciated all the love and even sent some back in the form of no less than eight red heart emojis.
Even if they never appeared on RHOBH together, it seems clear that these are two of the ’Wives who Faye still loves dearly.
