Kenya Moore Addresses the Current Status of Her Divorce from Marc Daly
The RHOA mom opened up about where things stand with her ex-husband today and if she's currently dating.
It’s been about a year and a half since Kenya Moore filed for divorce from Marc Daly, and in case you’re wondering, they have yet to finalize the divorce years after they went their separate ways. When Kenya appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on January 3, The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom revealed when she believes she and her ex will finally be able to put this chapter behind them.
“Soon. I’m hoping [it will be finalized] soon,” she told a virtual fan when asked for an update on where things stand in their divorce today during her appearance in the Clubhouse on Tuesday. “The world’s longest divorce.”
WWHL host Andy Cohen noted that although it has been taking a while for Kenya and Marc to finalize things, “Well, Bethenny [Frankel] has that title [of world’s longest divorce] — but you’re coming close.”
Kenya filed for divorce from Marc in August 2021. That filing came nearly two years after Kenya and Marc first confirmed they had separated in September 2019 after marrying in June 2017. Together, Kenya and Marc are parents to their daughter, Brooklyn Daly.
In fact, Kenya opened up more about her split from Marc during The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 14 After Show, in which she shed more light on how they were still working through many logistics following their separation several years back and the divorce is ongoing. “It’s a s--t show,” she said at the time of the After Show taping. In the same After Show segment (below), Kenya also revealed how she feels about not getting a prenup with Marc at the time of their marriage.
By the way, on WWHL this week, Kenya also addressed her current relationship status, confirming that she is out there and that she is "dating."
