Queer Eye's Tom and Abby Are Engaged and They've Already Got Huge Plans for the Wedding
Buckle up for this emotional rollercoaster!
Whether or not you've been binge-watching the reboot of Queer Eye, you've probably heard about Tom Jackson, the recipient of the Fab 5's makeover in the first episode of the new season and the breakout star of the series, as determined by the Internet.
After the Fab 5 helped Tom channel his inner studliness, he rekindled his romance with his ex-wife Abby and even asked her on a date at the end of the episode — and she said yes! Basically, we assumed that Tom and Abby would be walking off, hand-in-hand, into the sunset to forever live happily ever after.
But then Tom updated the world on his current relationship with Abby on Twitter on February 27. "I just watched my episode for about the 20th time. I cry like a baby [every] time I watch it," Tom tweeted. "Just to let the world know, Abby and I are no longer together. She will always be the love of my life. I will always love her more than anything!!!!!!!"
Tom later tweeted that he and Abby had actually broken up months ago in September. Deep down inside, we always knew we couldn't have nice things, didn't we?
Before our tears could even dry, Tom gave ANOTHER update on the status of him and Abby, and it just about knocked us over with delight. "So happy to say that Abby and I are reunited," he tweeted. "We’ve loved each other for many years and want to spend the rest of our lives together!!!!!!!!"
But wait, there's more! Tom announced on Twitter on Monday that he and Abby are about to tie the knot, and our cold, dead hearts will now be forever warmed. "It’s official, Abby and I are engaged," Tom tweeted, adding that he'd love for Queer Eye fans to be a part of the big day. "What a Netflix special [that] would be. If the Fab 5 planned and attended our wedding!!!!!!!!!"
Tom later tweeted out a photo of Abby's engagement ring, and it sure is a stunner.
He also shared that he'd like some familiar faces to take part in the wedding. "I’m praying that the Fab 5 can find time in their busy schedule to come. I’d love for Bobby [Berk to] be [the] best man, and the other 4 be my grooms men," Tom tweeted. "Chandler [Tom's grandson] will be my ring bearer."
Tom previously posted a photo of himself and Abby on their first time down the aisle. If this pic is any indication, we're sure their second wedding will be nothing short of fabulous.
