Paige Reveals Who Craig Complains About the Most in the Southern Charm Cast
Summer House's Paige DeSorbo spilled the tea about Craig Conover during BravoCon 2023.
Paige DeSorbo never fails to keep it 100 — even when presented with a shady question.
The Summer House cast member demonstrated this during a recent installment of the BravoCon Live with Andy Cohen Takeover. The episode, which was filmed during BravoCon 2023 weekend, included a classic Watch What Happens Live game in which guests are challenged to answer juicy questions or plead the Fifth by taking a drink.
One of the questions was directed at Paige and centered on her Southern Charm boyfriend, Craig Conover. “Paige, which of his Southern Charm castmates does Craig complain about the most?” Andy asked.
The fashion writer/influencer didn’t need much time to consider all her options, as she dropped a name before the crowd could stop laughing.
“Oh, Austen [Kroll],” she casually replied.
Craig, who was sitting right beside her, was also amused by the lighthearted answer and let out a laugh.
Craig Conover and Austen Kroll's Friendship
Austen joined the Summer House cast in 2016 and made his Bravo debut in 2017’s Season 4. As two of the youngest men in the series, Austen and Craig immediately hit it off and went on to develop a solid bromance. They’ve supported and defended each other throughout the years and even became roomies in Season 7 after asbestos was discovered in Craig’s home; however, the friendship hasn’t been completely drama-free, as they’ve had their fair share of arguments and short-lived beefs over their time in the Bravoverse.
One of their biggest fights stemmed from Summer House Season 6, when Austen kissed Lindsay Hubbard shortly after rekindling his romance with Summer House’s Ciara Miller. Paige was among those who confronted Austen over his actions; however, the Southern Charm-er dismissed the criticism and ultimately slammed a door in Paige’s face. Craig said he was deeply disappointed by Austen’s behavior, so much so that they stopped speaking for two months.
Craig Conover and Austen Kroll make amends after Summer House drama
Craig reflected on their drama in an exclusive interview with Page Six last year.
“It’s tough, you know, but that comes with the territory. It comes with the job,” he said. “Austen — and I will say, to his credit — is in a wonderful place now. He had a wonderful Winter House, and he’s just doing a lot better than he was last summer.”
Craig recalled telling Austen, “It’s a roller coaster being on TV. You did some dumb stuff, but no one’s perfect. Some things are worse than others.’ But, you know, fortunately with time, everyone can redeem themselves, and I think you guys will see that.”
