Not That We’re Shocked, But Meryl Streep Gave Billy Eichner the Most Incredible Life Advice
The Billy on the Street star was all ears when the Academy Award-winning actress imparted some priceless wisdom.
Billy Eichner's love for Meryl Streep knows no bounds. He first met her live on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in 2012, when she was a guest and he was a bartender, and they still occasionally see each other.
Eichner returned to the show, this time on the couch, and Andy Cohen aired the old clip, saying, "It's weird, it was only a few years ago, but you look 12!"
Eichner laughed as he watched and then made fun of the thinner hairline he had back in the day: "First of all," he deadpanned, "shout out to Rogaine and Propecia."
He revealed that the actress (who is currently Emmy-nominated as the narrator of Netflix's Five Came Back) has been super nice to him every time he's subsequently run into her. He just saw her at a Planned Parenthood benefit where she spoke, and she was kind enough to give him some brief but incredibly prescient life advice.
"We talked about Billy on the Street and as she walked away she said, 'stay mad.'"
That probably shouldn't be a problem...
