Lauri Peterson's Granddaughter Kennady Looks All Grown Up in These New Photos

During Lauri Peterson's time on The Real Housewives of Orange County, fans not only followed all of her fun and drama with the cast but also her family life, going from a single mom when the show first premiered in 2006 to starting a new chapter when she married George Peterson in Season 3.

Though it's been several years since we last saw Lauri on RHOC, she still keeps fans updated on her life and her loved ones on Instagram, including her granddaughter, Kennady, who is the daughter of her son, Josh Waring. Lauri adopted Kennady several years ago, and she has been raising her with George.

Lauri's latest life updates are all about little Kennady, who, it turns out, isn't quite so little anymore. Lauri recently shared the happy news that Kennady's dance team just won first place in their competition this week, and the RHOC alum couldn't help but gush that she was "so proud" of Kennady and her squad for this latest achievement. "What an amazing ride this was and an awesome way to end the season!" Lauri wrote on Instagram on July 7.

Kennady is also an accomplished dancer when she's solo, earning a couple of titles at a competition in March, her "first time back on stage in a long time," Lauri noted on Instagram at the time. Lauri added that her "heart exploded in a million pieces" when she watched Kennady perform. "Best first day back ever!!!" Lauri gushed in a post on Instagram on March 23.

As if Kennady didn't already look all grown up in the above pics, she really made us feel old in the photos Lauri shared of her granddaughter dressed up for her first awards gala hosted by her dance studio. Lauri noted in the June 21 Instagram post that Kennady "was so excited" for the event.

When she's not dancing, Kennady is traveling with her grandparents. The trio hit the slopes in April and most recently had some fun in the sun in Mexico.

Of course, there have also been lots of holiday celebrations, which Kennady and the whole family definitely know how to dress for.

As you can see, the family's most recent Christmas celebration also included Lauri's daughters Ashley Zarlin and Sophie Waring. Bravo fans most recently saw Lauri back on their screens with Ashley as they rewatched the very first episode of RHOC in a special episode that aired in October 2020.

Lauri's son, Josh, was released from jail in March 2020 after pleading guilty to lesser charges in his attempted murder case. She later showed her support for Josh in a post on Instagram celebrating his birthday in December 2020, sharing "that life has opened up a new chapter for you" and that he is "surrounded by love."

Speaking of love, Lauri and George are still going strong, with the RHOC alum confirming that he is "still my ride or die" while wishing her husband a happy birthday in February. The couple will celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary in September. 

As Lauri put it in an Instagram post celebrating Kennady's eighth birthday in December 2020, "Where has the time gone!"
