Lala Kent's Baby Girl, Sosa, Recently Marked a Big "First"
The Vanderpump Rules mom shared the update during her November recap: "We slayed the month."
Lala Kent’s infant is already making a splash.
Just three months after welcoming her second daughter, Sosa Kent, the Vanderpump Rules mom took to Instagram to reflect on her baby’s recent “first.” Lala shared the moment in a November recap that began with an adorable shot of her and Sosa taking a dip in their backyard pool.
“November, you did not disappoint,” she captioned the carousel. “Sosa had her first pool day.”
Lala Kent shares family highlights from November 2024
The opening photo showed Lala rocking a black swimsuit and a pair of Prada sunglasses as she held and kissed Sosa on the cheek. However, the cuteness didn’t end there. The following snaps captured Sosa’s first Thanksgiving celebration and first Santa Claus photos, which she took with her big sister, Ocean Kent Emmett. Lala also included pictures and videos of her holiday decorations, a family movie night, and Ocean’s hair fiasco.
“Ocean used her pipes to check us while decorating the tree (yes, I turned the music down),” Lala wrote in the caption. “I almost had to give O a very unfortunate hair cut. We got pictures with Santa (this was a huge deal). It was my little turkey’s first Thanksgiving. I helped in the kitchen (this was also a huge deal). My mama turned 64! Ocean wanted to celebrate by going to Moana 2- she LOVED it (Gigi did too). We slayed the month. It hit all the notes.”
Lala Kent reacts to Vanderpump Rules recasting news
It’s no secret 2024 has brought many big changes for Lala and her “pod” — and we’re not just talking about baby No. 2. The Utah native launched an online talk-show series, purchased a Los Angeles home, and embarked on a major renovation project. Lala also reacted to the Vanderpump Rules Season 12 announcement, which will feature an entirely new cast.
“Where to begin. I was a young girl from Salt Lake City who made her way to L.A. I would introduce myself as Lauren, but because my childhood best friend referred to me as Lala, my nickname quickly stuck,” Lala wrote in a November 26 Instagram. “SUR was a place that became home. I found myself not only sipping on vodka sodas there, but behind a hostess stand… it still to this day is the most intimidating job I’ve ever had.”
She continued: “A short time later the opportunity to be on a show called Vanderpump Rules landed in front of me. I have such mixed feelings right now. It’s no secret I do not like change. This is the exception. I want to say thank you for rocking with us for so many years. This show changed my whole life. I’m unbelievably grateful for every moment. I’m unbelievably grateful for Bravo, for NBCU, for our crew, the entire cast, and most importantly all of you. We rocked this bitch until the wheels fell off.”
