Kylie Jenner Found Out About Khloe Kardashian's Pregnancy Via FaceTime
And she's not the only person in Khloe's life who found out the big news that way.
It was the Keeping Up with the Kardashians moment we'd all been waiting for (well, apart from that other pregnancy announcement, which has yet to come). On January 15, the show documented the moment when Khloe Kardashian told her family that she's expecting a little one. And, just in case you missed it (and don't mind a wee spoiler!), know that the reactions were rich.
Here's how it all went down: Khloe first found out about the pregnancy herself from a home test, which she took when she was about six weeks along. Holding the test, she told her assistant Alexa Okyle, "I'm pregnant." (Retroactive gasp!)
She also shared what happened when she told the daddy-to-be, her beau Tristan Thompson, the big news via FaceTime. "He was like, 'Wait, are you kidding or serious?'" the soon-to-be mama revealed. As for her family, Kardashian waited to tell them at just the right moment. And that moment came at a family barbecue.
With Tristan by her side at Kris Jenner's backyard bash, the Revenge Body star said, “We’re so lucky and blessed to have everyone here … we’re having a baby.” Cue the outpouring of happiness from the extended clan. Kris was as surprised as she was delighted, and admitted that she'd questioned whether Khloe ever would have a baby at all.
One person missing from the summery fête was Kylie Jenner, but the group did what any modern family would: they dialed her up using FaceTime. That's right: the Kylie Cosmetics mogul learned about her sister's pregnancy via an app — just like the daddy-to-be. That's one call Kylie was thrilled to take!
