Joe Giudice Promises His Daughters “the Best of Me in 2020” in Emotional Message
The RHONJ dad posted a moving message reflecting on the past year.
As 2019 comes to an end, Joe Giudice is reflecting on his experiences over the last tumultuous year and looking forward to his next chapter. The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband recently shared an emotional post on Instagram dedicated to his daughters, promising them “the best of me in 2020.”
On December 28, Joe posted a collage featuring various pictures of him and his four girls, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana, who all spent Christmas with him in Italy. Teresa Giudice, who reportedly separated from Joe earlier this month, stayed behind in New Jersey to celebrate the holiday with dad Giancinto Gorga, brother Joe Gorga, and sister-in-law Melissa Gorga.
Alongside the photos, Joe wrote a moving message that read, “I posted this message in morning but I choked up and I took it down then I thought part of regrowth is acceptance!! This year, I have done a lot of self reflection I now know to be Happy and content with who I am and what I have food, bed, air, girls, and family.”
He went on to add, “I learned in there All you have to do is love yourself and be the BEST! I’m letting go of 2019 with my beautiful girls but promising them the BEST of ME IN 2020!! They make me proud in so many ways and are my treasures.”
The emotional post comes after a year full of change for the entire Giudice family. After being released from ICE custody, Joe moved to Italy in October in order to await the final decision in his ongoing deportation case. Teresa and Joe reportedly split after 20 years of marriage in December, several weeks after she and their daughters visited him in Italy for the first time.
Though Teresa suggested that the family’s holidays plans were still undecided just days before Christmas, her and Joe’s four daughters did return overseas to celebrate the rest of the season with their dad. The group has been busy spending time with family and taking in the Italian sites.
Their next stop: Rome, as Joe revealed in a second contemplative Instagram post shared on December 29.
“Today, I’m driving girls to Rome I want you all to take this exciting ride into 2020!! It has been the best week of my life being us again! I read a quote in there which stuck with me you cannot change your destination overnight, but you can change your direction overnight,” the dad of four wrote. “All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination. I’m willing to change for my girls.”
