Janet Jackson Plans to Resume Tour After Confirming Separation from Husband Wissam Al Mana
"I just want to keep it real," the singer told fans from another bedside confessional.
Janet Jackson has made all of her most important announcements from bed over the past year, and she has hit the sheets again to share some personal and professional news with her fans. In a video posted to Twitter, Janet revealed that she is resuming her postponed concert tour, which was originally called Unbreakable but has since been renamed State of the World Tour, and confirmed that she has separated from her husband Wissam Al Mana.
"I just want to keep it real with you guys for a second," she said. "Yes, I separated from my husband. We are in court, and the rest is in God's hands."
Janet's previous bedside bombshell came in April 2016, when she announced that the tour was on hold so that she and Wissam could plan their family. Her new missive includes a sweet moment where she talks about their son, three-month-old Eissa: "He is so healthy, so beautiful, so sweet, so loving — such a happy baby!"
Janet's 56-city State of the World Tour begins September 7.
