Who is Haleigh Gorman from Below Deck Mediterranean?
Haleigh grew up in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
And, while she joined the Mustique crew in Season 8 as a green yachtie, she actually had 10 years of experience aboard small ships under her belt.
“My dad wanted a son. He did everything in his power to make sure I was boy-like — soccer, basketball, softball, rugby — growing up. I think that’s why I started working on [tug boats]," she shared in Episode 1. "The whole yachting industry is something I wanted to try. Get all your money done in like one month. Go home, drink beers or something. Kind of sounds great.”
When off the boat, Haleigh enjoys hiking, scuba diving, fishing, and yoga.

While Haleigh hasn't revealed the year she was born, we know her birthday is August 4, making her a Leo.

Since the Season 8 charter season ended, Haleigh has been working as a trained yoga teacher and chief of marine operations.

A fresh face on Bravo (and to the yachting world in general!), Haleigh joined Below Deck Med during Season 8.
“I’ve been a deckhand on, like, ships and tugs and stuff. So like, yachting, I don’t even know," she shared in Episode 1.
When asked to describe the season for her BravoTV.com bio, she called it "super, crazy, hectic" and noted that the ship, 180-foot megayacht Mustique, was "very clean compared to what I’m used to."
Haleigh noted multiple times throughout the show how much she didn't like non-deck work.
“It’s hard for me to just hang out when I’m used to, like, the adrenaline and exciting part of boats. Sitting on the dock, I don’t really know what I’m supposed to be doing. If I was on the tugs, I can chip and paint something. But the yacht, it’s a floating hotel. And if it’s not moving there’s nothing for me to do besides, like, hose the charter guests off," she shared in Episode 3.
Still, she rocked her extra tasks, from washing dishes to helping decorate for an EDM-themed party in Episode 2.
Season 8, Episode 14 ended with Captain Sandy Yawn receiving an ominious text from Haleigh, who had left the ship to get a strange illness evaluated. "It's been a rough couple of days," read the message. "Can I call you?"
In a preview of Episode 15 (seen below), it's revealed that Haleigh was returning to the boat in time for the last charter of the season. (That episode will air on Bravo on January 15 and begin streaming on Peacock on January 16.)
Is Haleigh Gorman dating anyone?
While she's kept herself out of boatmances during Season 8, Haleigh does have someone special in her life.
In October 2023, she shared a sweet Instagram photo with a special someone — his name is Jason, according to a tag — captioning the post, "I love you." Jason replied, "I love you" in the comments, adding a red heart emoji.
