Gretchen Rossi's Daughter Just Had Her "First Official" Day of Preschool (PHOTOS)
The RHOC alum and partner Slade Smiley have a lot of feelings as their daughter, Skylar Gray, heads off to preschool.
Gretchen Rossi has officially sent her daughter, Skylar Gray Smiley, off to school. And, yes, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum has many, many, many feelings about it. She posted an adorable set of photos from the big day and the caption also noted how emotional Skylar's dad, Slade Smiley, was to see his daughter kick off this time in her life.

"Omg my baby is getting soo big. Where does the time go? Today was her first official day of a 'big kid' Pre-School (she is 4 now) and she did great! Mommy [and] Daddy were the ones crying. Were you guys like that? Or were you fine?" Gretchen posted on Instagram this week. She went on to add that her hopes for her daughter as she embarks on the school year include "growth" and "that she meets new [and] fun friends, [and] learns lots of new things. Hope all your [first] days back to school have been great as well!"

Ahead of the school year kicking off, Gretchen posted the many fun activities that she's been up to this summer with her family. In fact, as Gretchen noted in late August, she's been out creating "so many fun memories with my baby girl this summer" like chasing butterflies, a birthday staycation, and a trip to the lake.
Back in July, Gretchen opened up about her daughter turning 4 and how much her life has changed since becoming a mom.
"Happy 4th Birthday to my Bestie. My sweet precious Baby Girl SKYLAR GRAY! Words cannot describe the daily joy you bring to our lives! You are sooo funny, so smart, so sassy, and truly have one of the biggest hearts I have ever encountered! You touch so many people’s lives just by being YOU! The Lord blessed us on this day four years ago by fulfilling our dream of having a little girl [and] every day with you just gets better and better! I feel like the luckiest Mom in the world to have you as my daughter," she wrote. "Thank you for teaching me so many lessons daily…you are such a ray of light! I pray the Lord always guides your path and know that your Daddy [and] I love you so very much! Happy Birthday Sweet Girl! ([By the way] the only thing she wanted for her B-day was to go to a hotel, so we made it happen for her)."
In another birthday post, Gretchen added, "Trying to savor every moment as your Mommy, because as we all know, time sure does fly by! I love getting to do this life with you baby girl. Thank you for constantly bringing such joy [and] happiness to my life. Mommy loves you so much! ([And] please don’t you ever grow up.)"
