Garcelle Beauvais Opens up About Her Relationship With Her Sister Today
The RHOBH cast member talks about a "falling out" she had with her sibling Carol.
Without a doubt, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 11 reunion has laid bare the many ups and down the ‘Wives have faced over the past season, as the ladies sat down with Andy Cohen for Part 3 of the four-part reunion which aired October 27. And Garcelle Beauvais did not hold back as she reflected on a rather complicated relationship she faced involving her sister, Carol.
When the subject came up about how Garcelle, who has six older brothers and sisters, had forgotten one of her sister's names in a prior episode, Andy asked the RHOBH cast member, “Have you heard from your sister Carol about forgetting her name?”
“I love my sister, Carol," Garcelle responded, adding that she is the youngest of seven siblings. A clip was then shown of the moment during an interview in an episode earlier this season when Garcelle, while listing off the names of her brothers and sisters, had struggled for a moment before recalling the name of her sister, Carol, saying, “I forgot about her, oh my God, I love you Carol!”
Garcelle continued to reflect during the reunion on her past conflict with Carol, noting that she now views it "differently" than before. After Andy prompted her to elaborate more on the subject, Garcelle opened up about how the two siblings had previously not been on speaking terms.
“Something happened and we didn’t talk about it, and just let it sort of fester and it just sort of went away," said Garcelle, to which Andy replied, "Was it then Freudian that you couldn’t remember her name?"
"Maybe," Garcelle responded, as she gave thought to the unintentional slip-up, adding, "Yeah, absolutely."
The RHOBH mom of three has been open about how much family means to her, and she has shared many glimpses into her family life, including a heartwarming photo she posted several months ago with one of her sisters, Chantal.
"My sister Chantal crashed my photo shoot and is way too comfortable & loved it!" Garcelle joked in the caption of the July 17 post. Earlier this month, she also shared sweet photos and a video celebrating her twin boys' birthdays. Garcelle included a heartfelt note in the caption of her October 18 post, “14 years ago I got the best blessing and that’s becoming a mom to these two beautiful boys! Happy birthday Jax and Jaid."
