This Emmy Nominee Didn't Hold Back Her True Feelings About Losing to Laura Dern
Feud star Jackie Hoffman won the night with her hilarious reaction.
Acceptance speeches are a staple of awards shows, and so are the faces of those who don't get to take home the trophy as they graciously accept their defeat. But of course, we'd love to know how they're really feeling on the inside.
Finally, one actress didn't hold back her true feelings about losing out on an award during the Emmys Sunday night. Jackie Hoffman, who was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role as Mamacita in Feud, could be seen jokingly yelling "dammit" after Laura Dern took home the trophy for her performance as Renata Klein in Big Little Lies.
And it seemed as if that was just the beginning of Hoffman and Dern's funny feud. Hoffman continued to throw some hilarious shade at Dern on Twitter, joking that she's a "#soreloser."
Judging from the rest of Hoffman's account of her time at the Emmys, it sounds like it was still a night to remember, despite her loss.
