Dorinda Medley Connects With Her Late Husband, Richard Medley — and Is Reminded of Something Special About Their Marriage
“It really was a great friendship," The Real Housewives of New York City pal shared.
When it comes to remembering her late husband, Richard Medley, Dorinda Medley admits, “I don’t think there’s a day that goes by when I still don’t think of him at some moment." And she'll be connecting with him on an upcoming episode of Long Island Medium.
The Real Housewives of New York City pal sits down with Theresa Caputo in an episode airing this week and during their conversation, she's reminded of a special thing they used to do together.
Theresa asks the Big Apple pal, “Did he like hankies, or did you always make him wear a matching hankie?”
To which she responds, “Yes, I did; no one would know that.”
In the preview clip posted by PEOPLE, Theresa further tells Dorinda: “He says, ‘Nobody knew our relationship better than we did.’ He says, ‘And I wouldn’t have traded what we had for anything.’"
Dorinda added, “It really was a great friendship. And that is the sad part because that’s irreplaceable.”
Later on, Dorinda remembers her late husband, who died in 2011 (the pair had been married from 2005 until his passing). "When Richard came into my life, I really didn’t even want to even get married again, but he was such a great friend and mentor. He was a real academic," she remembers of him on Monday's episode. "He dealt with a lot of political figures but really enjoyed life and that’s what made it so great and that’s what made it so sad when he died.”
