D’Andra Simmons Reveals She’s Been Engaged 13 Times and Had a Million Dollar Wedding
The RHOD cast member has recently had some interesting conversations about money with Kameron Westcott.
Following the January 26 episode of The Real Housewives of Dallas, money (particularly: D’Andra Simmons’ finances) has been a hot topic among the ladies. D’Andra and Kameron Westcott have since opened up the conversation about where they get their cash, and there have been a few interesting revelations along the way.
In a tweet D’Andra sent as the episode was airing, the cast member tagged Kameron, writing: “You have a lot of comments about where I get my money…Yet your husband pays for everything you own? Hmm…”
Kameron replied to D’Andra, adding, “I will own it any day that I get my money from my husband…I have no embarrassment for that? But I do have a business as well and make a lot on my own…so this statement isn’t 100% true?” She also added the hashtags “no shame” and “Love you girl,” with a kiss-mark emoji.
D’Andra followed up, adding, “All I have to say is people who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones…My businesses bring in a great income to my household as well,” to which Kameron replied, “Pink glass houses are stone proof…except for diamonds!”
The Texas native also opened up about her lifestyle and “financial relationship” with her mother during her January 26 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, which you can check out in the video, above.
D’Andra set the record straight, explaining that she paid for her wedding to Jeremy. “That was my second marriage, and it was my duty to pay for it,” she said. However, she did note that the most expensive party bill her mother ever footed was “probably my first wedding, which was over a million dollars,” citing the lavish fireworks as a major reason for the cost.
She also noted that she has been engaged 13 times, tweeting, “Sometimes you have to kiss a few (or 13) frogs before you find your Prince Charming!”
