Dance Moms' Abby Lee Miller Was Just Released Early from Jail
The reality star isn't officially free yet, though.
Somewhere, Abby Lee Miller is doing a happy dance. The former Dance Moms star has just been released early from prison for good behavior.
According to Deadline, Miller is now headed to a halfway house in Long Beach. But she won't have to wait too long before she's officially a free woman: if all goes well at the halfway house, Miller will be released on May 25.
Miller was in prison serving a 366-day sentence, which started in July 2017. The sentence came after Miller was indicted on 20 counts of fraud back in 2015, based on questionable financial moves. (Allegedly, she declared bankruptcy without reporting the roughly $9,000 a month she was earning from Dance Moms, among other things.)
Seemingly in reaction to her early release, Miller posted a photo of Kermit the Frog taking a celebratory sip of iced tea on March 27.
Fans were quick to show their support, leaving comments such as "she's out, y'all" and "welcome back."
