Dr. Contessa Metcalfe Celebrates Her Latest Accomplishment with Dr. Scott
The Married to Medicine cast member is adding another major achievement to her resume.
Dr. Contessa Metcalfe has yet another major accomplishment to add to her jam-packed resume. The Married to Medicine cast member just received her Master of Science degree in public health from Meharry Medical College, as captured in a recent Instagram post.
On August 4, Contessa took to Instagram to celebrate her latest achievement with her husband, Dr. Scott Metcalfe, their kids, and several family friends. “Today is an amazing day,” she can be heard saying in the sweet clip while proudly showing off the degree. “Look what came today. It took about a year…but it’s official!”
In the caption of the post, Contessa went on to write, “Thank you for believing in me @meharrymedicalcollege.”
Several of Contessa’s fellow Married to Medicine cast member took to the comments to share their support. “Congratulations,” Dr. Jackie Walters wrote alongside a series of heart face emojis while Dr. Heavenly Kimes added, “I love Meharry!”
Contessa has had plenty of career milestones to celebrate in recent months. Back in May, she also received the distinction of getting invited back to her alma mater, Saint Louis University, to deliver the commencement speech at the university’s School of Medicine.
“It’s crazy I was a graduate now I’m on the stage giving words of encouragement to the future doctors of the world! Thanks for the honor!” she wrote on Instagram at the time, also adding hashtags that read “grateful” and “full circle.”
