Chrissy Teigen Almost Got Run Over by a Cyclist, But a Stranger Intervened
The pregnant model said an unidentified "creeper" who appeared in a paparazzi shot "actually saved me."
Chrissy Teigen had a sidewalk scare on March 27. While walking the streets of New York City, where her husband John Legend is preparing for his role in NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert, the pregnant Cravings author had a very close call with a speedy cyclist. The incident could have ended in a harmful collision. But thankfully, a good Samaritan was nearby to lend a helping hand.
Here's what happened: Paparazzi snapped a photo of the expectant star while she was stepping off a curb. An unidentified man on the street also appeared in the shot, and was captured looming behind Teigen.
Quick to seize on the somewhat awkward photo, social media users began to comment on the unidentified figure. "Hey [Chrissy Teigen] this looks like you have strapped a very small man to your boob," one user wrote.
Teigen cheekily responded: "I had the baby," but was quick to defend the "baby" in question when another fan called him a "creeper." The cookbook author shared that the stranger in the photo had in fact come to her rescue. "Nah he actually saved me from getting run over by a cyclist," she wrote. "I should have looked before stepping out!"
