Brynn Whitfield Reveals a Sweet Addition to Her Family Just Weeks After Freezing Her Eggs
The RHONY cast member shared an adorable look at her new furry friend, Sugar.
Thankfully for Brynn Whitfield, some promises are meant to be broken.
Like so many others, The Real Housewives of New York City cast member headed into the new year with a list of personal goals, two of which involved expanding her family. Although the intentions were quite ambitious, Brynn hit the ground running and managed to complete all of her goals by the time February rolled around. Yes, you read that right. It only took her a month!
The marketing consultant shared the big news in a recent Instagram post, in which she also introduced the world to her newest family member.

Brynn Whitfield reflects on the loss of her previous dog, Pepper
“Froze my eggs, and now got a puppy,” she captioned the February 3 video. "One month in, and I’ve already completed all my 2024 goals ;) Everybody: Meet Sugar!!!!”
The post was rather emotional, as it included footage of Brynn’s previous dog, Pepper, who died several years ago. She used the opportunity to reflect on the tragic loss and how the heartbreak was so severe she vowed to never get another puppy.
“Two years ago, I lost my best friend, Pepper… Pepper was perfect,” she captioned the video. "Pepper died 3 months after Mimi (the grandmother who raised her) died. So it felt extra painful. I promised myself that I’d never get another dog. Happy to report, I broke that promise.”

The post then showed Brynn boarding a flight to Florida, where she would finally meet the adorable Sugar — a black-and-white English Springer Spaniel that was born roughly two months ago.
The post received tens of thousands of “likes” and hundreds of comments from fans and a few Bravolebrities, including RHONY’s Jenna Lyons, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Garcelle Beauvais, Shahs of Sunset’s Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, and Below Deck alum Kate Chastain.
“Congratulations! So happy for you,” the latter wrote. “I’m sure Pepper is too.”
Brynn Whitfield shares her fertility journey
So, what about Brynn's egg-freezing goal? Well, she completed it several weeks ago and made sure to document the journey on Instagram. She posted videos of her new diet plan and the various supplements she took to boost her fertility. Brynn also provided a look at her workout routines, her daily stomach injections, and the big retrieval day, which yielded more than a dozen eggs.
“I’m so grateful I got 15 eggs,” she wrote in an Instagram Story, “but for peace of mind I would love to have 25-30. My dream is to have 2 kids minimum, ideally 3. And because you can’t know the quality of eggs until you use them i.e. create an embryo, I think more eggs would give me peace of mind.”
