Look Back at Brock Davies and Tom Sandoval's Friendship
The two might not be besties, but they're definitely still in touch after the season that rocked the world.
Although the friendship between Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval has been a highlight of Vanderpump Rules since the two first appeared on camera in Season 1, Tom Sandoval has more than one friend — and one is Brock Davies.
Since being introduced as Scheana Shay's boyfriend in Season 9, Brock has been a mainstay on VPR, mainly supporting his now-wife, Scheana, and their daughter, Summer Moon. But his relationships with the other cast members have also gotten stronger, including his friendship with Sandoval.
Read on to learn everything you need to know about their friendship, including where Brock and Tom stand today going into VPR Season 11.
Brock Davies and Tom Sandoval's friendship began during VPR Season 9
Brock, a rugby player and personal trainer from Australia, first met Scheana in September 2019 at a music festival in San Diego, and the two began dating shortly thereafter.
A year later, they announced that they were expecting their first child together.
Brock, however, didn't make his first appearance on VPR until the premiere episode of Season 9 in September 2021 (which had begun filming in May 2021). He was seen standing next to Sandoval at Scheana's birthday party, admiring his cocktail making skills.
"I'd love a cocktail bro," Brock said.

In Season 9 Episode 2, Brock took Sandoval and Schwartz to a cycling workout class with him, where he encouraged Sandoval to pedal faster. At the same time, both Toms admired his physique.
From there, it was the start of a beautiful friendship.

In addition to their spin classes, Brock and Sandoval hit the gym together, as evidenced by Sandoval's July 2021 Instagram post with Brock. The duo can be seen looking into the camera at the gym, while Sandoval hung upside down from a power rack.

In spite of Brock leaving him hanging, Sandoval was already opening up to his new friend, referring to Brock as his "new bestie" and "partner in crime" in the photo's hashtags.
Brock Davies had a "minor role" in Vanderpump Rules Season 10
Although Brock made friends with everyone on VPR Season 9, his friendship with Sandoval was not seen on camera much in Season 10, with Brock only making minor appearances on the show with Scheana.
This was primarily due to logistical reasons, he told Us Weekly in February 2023, noting that they had been "just figuring out our scheduling" when it came time to attending events for the show and watching their daughter.
Brock also explained Showbiz Cheat Sheet in December 2022 that his absence was due to the fact that there was more for the show to cover.
"So this season I definitely got a minor role as opposed to Season 9, but the world also opened back up," he explained. "There's more to do this season, so it's not so dramatically focused on just personality."
Brock Davies' relationship with Tom Sandoval after Vanderpump Rules Season 10
Season 10 was also when it was revealed that Sandoval had cheated on his long time girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with fellow cast member Rachel Leviss.
The news was hard for everyone including Brock and Scheana, who had grown particularly close to Sandoval and Ariana in their own separate ways. But, Scheana did end up picking a side — Ariana's. During the Season 10 finale, Scheana told Sandoval that they could no longer be friends.

"I don't even know where to go from here," she told him during a sit down at their home. "I mean, obviously, we're not friends anymore, because I can't support anything you've done."
Brock also ended up severing his relationship with Sandoval. During a July 2023 appearance on Scheana's podcast, Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, Brock said that he missed his friendship with Sandoval, but knew that he had to end things.
"Of course [I miss my friendship with Sandoval]. It is just very annoying he did this, unfortunately," he said. "I am not just going to forgive him and I don't think anyone in the group is going to forgive and move on."
But, at the same time, he was hopeful for their reconciliation. "We want to have those conversations and hopefully they happen this summer and see how it goes."
The VPR cast on Brock Davies and Tom Sandoval's friendship
During an appearance on the podcast The Viall Files, Katie Maloney shared her opinion on what Brock and Sandoval's relationship looked like in the wake of the scandal.
"I don't think they're like, besties, but they definitely have a relationship," she said.
During a December 2023 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Ariana revealed that Brock and Tom are still kind of close.
When asked "who cozied up the most to Sandoval" this season, Ariana replied "Brock" and said that Scheana was the biggest "pot stirrer" in the upcoming season.
Brock Davies, Scheana Shay, and Tom Sandoval's friendship in Vanderpump Rules Season 11
Both Scheana and Brock were conflicted while filming Season 11, given their past with Sandoval.
During a December 2023 episode of Scheananigans with Scheana Shay, Scheana said that it was hard to avoid Sandoval this season. "So obviously I've been seen hanging out here and there [with him]," she said.

"At the end of the day, we're on a show together. We've got a lot of mutual friends," she said. "And there is so much that you're going to see on the next season."
But, Scheana noted that her priority has always been Ariana and making sure that she feels comfortable.
What happens with Brock Davies in Vanderpump Rules Season 11?
In Season 11 Brock will have to figure out where his loyalties lie. Per his cast bio:
"Celebrating their one year anniversary, Scheana Shay and husband, Brock Davies, are struggling to connect as they leave the honeymoon stage and settle into their life with a toddler. Brock is able to navigate the tricky dynamics and develops closer friendships with the group."
Scheana, meanwhile, "finds herself straddling the lines in the sand within the group as she navigates her relationships with her longtime friends and feuding exes, Ariana and Tom."
