There was even a time when viewers wondered whether Dolores Catania and Margaret Josephs would remain thick as thieves — but a recent update on their friendship proved that the two are, indeed, still close.
To back up a bit, Margaret was the one who brought up the fact that Dolores” boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell, is still legally married to his estranged wife on The Real Housewives of New Jersey After Show. However, the two remained on good terms even after Margaret dropped the reveal.
And on Dolores' recent birthday, Margaret proved exactly how she feels about her longtime friend.

On December 28, Margaret shared a carousel of photos showcasing sweet memories she and Dolores have shared. In the Instagram caption, she wrote: "Happy Birthday my sweet Dolores! You are an amazing mother, friend, partner, and as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside! Wishing you another fabulous year around the sun, we love you tons xoxo."
In the comments, the birthday girl weighed in. "Love u and thank u for the friendship we share always grateful for my Marge xoxo."

Meanwhile, Margaret and Jackie Goldschneider had been close friends since the latter joined the Jersey crew on Season 9. The two women even noted that they were "friends forever" when they had dinner with their respective husbands, Joe Benigno and Evan Goldschneider, in July 2023. However, things have changed since then.
After sharing that she was "going through something" with Margaret during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in late September 2023, Jackie shared an update on their relationship during BravoCon 2023.
While chatting with Page Six on the BravoCon red carpet, Jackie said that she's no longer close with her former pal. “There was a trust that got broken and I don’t know that that’s so easily repaired,” she said, though she did not share what exactly happened between the two.
Jackie did, however, reveal that she's "not sad" about the demise of their friendship. "I think the friendship kind of came to an end and I think everybody will see it and they’ll understand why I’m not sad," she teased.

As RHONJ viewers know, Margaret and Jackie were once close with Melissa Gorga, too. At BravoCon, Melissa referred to the drama between Margaret and Jackie as "strange" and "confusing." However, Jackie insists that she doesn't have an issue with Melissa.
"Nothing happened with Melissa," Jackie told InTouch Weekly. "So I don’t know if Melissa just jumped on what was happening with me and Margaret and made it hers. But I have no problem with Melissa, I never had an argument with Melissa. So I’m officially saying that I have no issue with Melissa."

Speaking of Jackie, if her birthday tribute to Dolores hints at anything, it's that she's also pals with the Jersey mom. "Happy birthday my beautiful friend!
