Andy Cohen Dropped a Few Surprising Truth Bombs About His Love Life and Recent Health Scare
The #WWHL host kept it 100 percent real chatting with pal Howard Stern about vaping and his BFF John Mayer.
When it comes to his life, almost no topic is off limits for Andy Cohen. So when the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host stopped by Howard Stern's Sirius XM show this week, he got really real when discussing a recent health scare. As it turns out, while he was filming Love Connection, he found something out about his health that forced him to make a big life change.
The WWHL host shared that he discovered he had a polyp in his throat after "I was having vocal issues." After the diagnosis, he went on corticosteroid prednisone and also gave up vaping. '"I thought that those were supposed to be good for your throat." But, he noted, "I mean, I'm still a major pothead."
This is not the first time Andy has publicly discussed his health. Last November, he opened up about a skin cancer scare after his pal, Kelly Ripa, asked him to get a black dot on his face checked out. "And finally I did, and it was melanoma. And they removed it, you know, the whole thing," he shared on LIVE last year, noting that it made him change the way he views his love for tanning. "And I just want to thank you because you were so dogmatic. And it's all fine, but that's a good friend."
In addition to breaking down that most recent health incident, Andy dished all about his friendship with John Mayer. And he made it clear that "I have love for him, but I'm not in love with him." Why? "John Mayer's great looking," Andy said about their bromance on Howard's show. "I don't like to make a move on a straight guy."
There you have it.
