SUR Restaurant & Lounge was the main backdrop of the show's early seasons and is still a major part of the cast members' lives. After all, Katie Maloney, Scheana Shay, Ariana Madix, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, and Tom Sandoval got their start hosting, serving, and bartending at the Lisa Vanderpump-owned establishment.
The Vanderpump friend group spending all of their free time together often meant visiting each other at work, bonding in the back alley over shift breaks, and personal drama spilling into the work day. And since it's never in good form to argue in front of customers, they'd often take it out back.
