Amy Schumer Bought Her Dad the Best Christmas Present *Ever*
The comedian bought back her family farm — see the touching video.
Amy Schumer just gave her dad an incredible Christmas gift, and so we're going to go ahead and declare her daughter of the year. This week, the comedian revealed that she bought back the farm her family once owned. According to Us Weekly, the family lost it when they went bankrupt following her father Gordon's multiple sclerosis diagnosis when Amy was 12. The family later moved to Long Island and her dad currently lives in an assisted living facility. Amy surprised him with the news via Facetime.
"Today I bought my father's farm back," she shared on Instagram, adding in another post (below), "We lost the farm when we lost everything else. But today I got to buy it back for him."
She also shared an adorable throwback video of herself as a child hanging out on the farm with her pop. "Video from the farm when I was running away in the cornfield and my dad was taunting me because I wanted him to come with me," she said in the touching post.
