Maybe 2018 Will be Better: Amanda Bynes Is Plotting Her "Comeback"
The troubled child star is ready for a fresh new start.
Amanda Bynes is currently a student at LA's Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, but she is ready to go back to the acting world.
“Amanda is looking forward to ringing in the new year with her close friends this year,” her lawyer told Page Six. “In 2018, she looks forward to completing fashion school and dipping her toe back into acting. She has had several offers but is waiting for the right one to come along for a comeback.”
In her first interview in four years, she told Hollyscoop in June that she's eyeing a return to the small screen, where her child acting career began.
"I want to do TV," she revealed. "Maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I'm a fan of and maybe another TV show where I'm the star of it in the future, that's what I hope."
Amanda announced that she would retire from acting in 2012 and was subsequently arrested for incidents including driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and setting fire to a random driveway.
