The Summer House Cast's Painfully Awkward Dinner Needed the Biggest Rosé Bottle
The massive bottle ensured there would be no shortage of wine at the tension-filled meal.
The cast of Summer House has taken their love for rosé to new heights.
During a tension-filled dinner (to say the least) on the show's Wednesday, March 11 episode, rosé was continuously poured by Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Luke Gulbranson, Hannah Berner, Paige DeSorbo, Jules Daoud, and Jordan Verroi. In case the multiple 750ml bottles of the cast-favorite drink weren't enough to get them through it, it appears the group also had a noticeably taller bottle on standby. As the meal went on, the bottle of wine was shown at the end of the table, towering over everything else there.
So, what's the libation responsible for the return of Carl's alter ago, who Kyle refers to as "Blackout Carl"? The aptly named Hampton Water rosé. A French wine made from a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre grapes, the drink was created by Jon Bon Jovi, Jesse Bongiovi, and Gérard Bertrand.
The meal started on an awkward note, to put it lightly, in the aftermath of Carl telling Lindsay he no longer wanted to be romantically involved with her. "I wanted to make my Caprese salad," Lindsay shared with the group. "But I couldn't because I was having too many conversations."
In an attempt to fill the tense silence, Kyle tried to break the ice with the group's seemingly only common interest: rosé. "We tend to butt heads at times, but most importantly we all come together," he said in a toast as the friends clinked their glasses together. "And we're one big happy family."
By no coincidence, as the group continued to throw back glasses of the wine, they grew worse at keeping their poker faces, specifically as Jules and Jordan and Hannah and Luke gave updates on their respective romances. Finally, the drama came to a head when Lindsay demanded that Carl "chug a bottle of water." Ignoring the suggestion, he grabbed one of the bottles of rosé on the table and poured himself another glass.
While we'll have to wait for future episodes to see how the drama evolves, it's clear that with this bottle, there will be no shortage of rosé for the Summer House cast to drink when it does.
