We Have an Update on Olivia Flowers’ Living Situation in Charleston
The South Carolina native detailed where she’s living (and with whom) ahead of Season 9 of Southern Charm.
When we first met Olivia Flowers at the start of Season 8 of Southern Charm, she let us in on the details of her living arrangements and her connection to Charleston.
“My roommate situation right now is my parents,” she laughed during a confessional on Season 8 Episode 1. “I was living in Los Angeles, but when COVID hit, I didn’t want to be locked down there during the apocalypse. So I came home and that’s kind of when I realized that being in L.A. was too far away. I wanted to be closer to my family.”
Now, ahead of Season 9, which premieres on Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c, we were curious to see if Olivia’s “roommate situation” still stands.
Does Olivia Flowers still live with her parents?
According to a press release and her new official bio, Olivia is now a “mainstay in Charleston” after making the move from the West Coast. As for the “palatial waterfront pad” she lived in with her parents, Olivia has stayed put in the home and her parents have moved out, leaving her “to rule as lady of the manor.”
The home, which is located in the Isle of Palms area (near Shep Rose, by the way), is quite a stunning property, sitting right on the water with an amazing view.
Scroll down for a refresher of some of its incredible details:
Olivia Flowers’ Home in the Isle of Palms
The white-painted home features a gorgeous view of the water and is complete with a dock and a lush backyard that’s perfect for entertaining (more on that in a bit).
The front of the house shows off its quaint yet chic style, with plenty of palm trees dotting the landscape and striking blue shutters accenting the windows.
When we met Olivia’s parents, Garry and Robin Flowers, the family was gathered in the stunning, breezy kitchen, which featured white shiplap on the walls, white cabinetry, and white countertops.
The room was peppered with colorful elements, including teal-and-white zebra-print counter stools, a blue-and-white damask-print living room chair, and a feathery-looking white light fixture above the dining room table.
Later, on Season 8 Episode 6, Olivia and her parents threw a party in the backyard for family and friends, where the drama between Olivia’s castmates began to simmer.
While we were enjoying the action, we couldn’t take our eyes off the various elements of the backyard space, which included a large outdoor bar complete with white tiling, a gray-and-white marble countertop, and teal shutters.
When Patricia Altschul arrived, she immediately pointed out the beautiful dock (which… how can you not?).
We also got a glimpse of the incredible pool and hot tub space as the ladies gathered around for a chat. It looks like Olivia has an ideal space for entertaining all to herself!
More Details on Southern Charm Season 9
In addition to her housing update, Olivia’s bio reveals how she “has put Austen [Kroll] in the rearview as she explores the dating scene and focuses on cultivating new female friendships.”
As you can see in the trailer above, much of the drama this season centers on a rumored hookup between Austen (Olivia’s on-again, off-again ex) and Taylor Ann Green, who is Shep’s ex and Olivia’s (former?) BFF.
While Austen acknowledges that “something happened” with Taylor at the beginning of the trailer, he doesn’t provide any additional details — not even after his on-again, off-again ex, Madison LeCroy, yells, “Did you f-ck Taylor or not?!”
The alleged tryst becomes the focus of several other conversations in the trailer, leaving some of the cast in tears.
