Craig Conover Finally Ditched His Bachelor Pad Style for Grown-Up Decor: Here's Proof
See the Southern Charm sewing enthusiast's newly-redone home.
When we last saw Craig Conover’s home, well, it was a work in progress… to say the least. The pillow designer moved into the property shortly after his breakup with Southern Charm castmate Naomie Olindo with the intention of fixing it up. And during Home & Design’s last visit, the house was littered with boxes, clothes, ironing boards, random mattresses, and let’s not forget the wall that was half-removed!
Today, however, all that's changed. Since last season wrapped, Craig has been living his best life traveling around the world (and giving us all a birds-eye-view of his adventures on Instagram), launching his new “sewing lifestyle brand” Sewing Down South, and managing to completely overhaul his colonial home. The result? An upscale aesthetic that is equal parts sophisticated and laidback.
Craig's pretty stoked about the new look, too, giving an Instagram shout-out to his designer Cintra Sedalik, who recently moved her company Cintra by Design from New York City to Charleston. And we get it — we’re totally blown away by the complete re-imagining of his Charleston home.
Take the full tour below, and be sure to tune into Southern Charm tonight at 9/8c!
Talk about a statement! Craig's neutral curtains have texture and pops of color in the form of navy geometric shapes, providing a modern yet relaxed backdrop to his main living space.
You're officially an adult when you've got a fancy bar in your home, and this one definitely screams "adulting." The mahogany piece includes a wine refrigerator and ample counter space for an ice bucket, trays, and liquor bottles.
While most of Craig's new furnishings and decor have a masculine, minimalist vibe, the turquoise velvet chaise is definitely a stand-out item that bucks the home's trend.
Craig's design aesthetic is all about mixing textures, patterns, colors, and materials, resulting in an upscale bohemian look that we're loving.
Craig's family room is super cozy, with an oversized sectional and leather armchair offering ample seating in front of the fireplace (and one giant TV!).
While Craig hasn't fully upgraded his kitchen, it is much tidier than the last time we saw it.
Remember that half-torn-down-wall? Well, it's gone! "Our goal is to open up the entire downstairs," Craig told us. Goal: achieved!
Craig's screened-in porch provides a relaxing place to overlook the property's half-acre of land.
This is where the Sewing Down South magic happens, and it's a space Martha Stewart would totally approve of. With its crispy white and tan color palette, Parsons desk, natural-fiber bins, and fiddle leaf fig plant, the room is a serene space for Craig's sewing.
