Who's Ariana Grande Dating in 2019? No One, She Says
The "thank u, next" singer has some strong thoughts on the subject.
Ariana Grande has just finished a difficult year in her personal life. Her ex-boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, died of an overdose, and she later broke up with Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, to whom she became engaged after four weeks of dating. She has recently asked her fans to stop bullying Pete, who has publicly shared depressive and suicidal thoughts, and she released a song called "thank u, next" namechecking all of her other exes.
So it would be quite understandable for Ariana to take a break from dating, which she has suggested on social media that she's doing for 2019 — and maybe forever.
“Who Is Ariana dating NOW?!” one Twitter user spotted by PEOPLE asked, to which the singer surprisingly responded, "Can they tell me too?"
"Spoiler: It's me!" one hopeful Tweeter added, which also got a response from Ariana on January 1.
“Spoiler for the rest of this year / probably my life: it’s no one. please refer back to this tweet for further questions,” she wrote.
Ariana is, of course, free to change her mind this year or thereafter, but she seems to have decided her path (for the moment).
