Warning! Balenciaga's New Capsule Collection for Net-a-Porter Will Make You Want to Splurge

Remember when Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez wore crystal-studded Gucci socks that cost $1,340 a pair? At the time, we thought, it must be nice to be a celebrity, and carried about our day. After all, we mere mortals can hardly imagine plunking down three figures on a pair of socks — let alone four! 

But every now and then, something comes along that makes us consider making a celebrity-size purge. And, what can we say? We've been bitten hard by Balenciaga's new capsule collection for Net-a-Porter. For the collaboration, designer Demna Gvasalia put a modern spin on the label's classics. 

It's not normally like us to feel that we need a $3,000 biker jacket, or even a $235 ring, but ... well, see below. (Theory: Our sudden Balenciaga fixation has everything to do with Kylie Jenner and Dorit Kemsley.)
