Tracy Tutor Transformed into Josh Altman to Re-Create His Viral 2012 Music Video
Tracy fully morphed into her fellow MDLLA agent (chest hair included!) to sell a house in an “unconventional” way.
In 2012, Josh Altman, Matt Altman, and Heather Altman made their “I Sell the Dream” music video to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. As Heather explained on the January 19 episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, the video was “epic” and “went viral,” so as she and Tracy Tutor were discussing ways to sell their latest co-listing, they decided to re-create the video as a marketing strategy.
While Heather had a “very similar” role in this iteration of the video as she did in the one shot in 2012 (“running the show, as usual”), Tracy got into character as Josh. In the new video, which Tracy admitted was a bit “unconventional,” she donned a suit, a wig, and makeup to do her best impersonation of him. “This is amazing,” Heather said as Tracy walked into their listing to start filming.
When it came time to surprise Josh and several other people with the video, Tracy coyly explained to the group, “I took a lot of time, and I really tried to formulate a character… which I felt was authentic.”
As the video started to play, Josh was floored, to say the least. “Oh my god!” he exclaimed after spitting out his drink. “What the hell?”
“Tracy is killing it,” he added in an episode interview. “The suit, the chest hair, the eyebrows, the beard. I mean, god, it’s awkward.”
