For the edgy mag, Tyra Banks went full-on jungle cat in a transformation that included airbrush makeup, prosthetics, and a fair amount of painted-on stripes. But of course, this being Tyra Banks, she made it fashion. Let's take a peek inside Tyra's leafy kingdom, shall we?
In this image, the model correctly identifies her stealth pose as "fierce as a Tyger." (Get it? Tyger?) The handcuffs and gold-flecked body paint definitely roar.
For her next look, Tyger Banks donned a skin-tight, black-and-gold bodysuit with matching ears. Meow!
The costume changes continued as a blonde Tyra crawled over a golden pond. You know, casual.
Have you ever seen a tiger in a jeweled thong and knee-high boots? Well, now you have.
In addition to the deliciously extra photo spread, Banks gave the mag a juicy interview — and was happy to spill the tea on her return to America's Next Top Model. After she temporarily left the show that gave us smize, Banks felt the wrath of its most devoted fans.
"I stepped away, but social media was calling my name in my sleep, screaming they were pissed off at me that I deserted [the show]," Banks told Paper. "I needed to bring my butt back, so I did... I thought Top Model would be fine without me hosting, but the social media sphere let me know that was not the case."
It looks like Banks really does look out for her fans — like a true den mother.
