Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton Wore Semi-Matching Outfits at Their First Joint Event
They were on the same — very cute — fashion wavelength.
We've been comparing and contrasting the styles of Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton for a while now, but today marks a big milestone for the future royal sisters-in-law. For their first joint public event, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle, all attended the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum in London.
So, did Markle and Middleton consult each other on their outfits for the occasion? We're wondering! Maybe Middleton, who seems to be a big fan of blue, passed a memo along to Markle.
According to the Independent, the Duchess turned to a $169 vibrant purple-ish blue dress from one of her favorite maternity brands, Seraphine.
Meanwhile, Markle wore a sleeveless navy Jason Wu trench dress paired with Aquazzura “Casablanca” multi-strap suede pumps. No word as to whether she towed the line with the number one fashion rule for royals.
How cute are they? Looking forward to more Markle-Middleton joint fashion sightings, and meanwhile, we're adding Jason Wu to the running for the wager on who will design Markle's wedding dress.
