Love It or Hate It? January Jones Wore a Hoodie on the Red Carpet

There's no doubt about it: hoodies have had an haute makeover. (Take, for instance, this $885 style designed by Vetements.) But, the casual sweater style hasn't exactly made a splash on the red carpet. That is, until January Jones decided to rock a hoodie at a major fashion event on February 20. 

The Mad Men actress took the fashion risk at the Runway to Red Carpet event in Los Angeles. Working with superstar stylist Elizabeth Stewart, whose other clients include Julia Roberts, Jones selected a surprising look that was every bit as edgy as a fashun event calls for. 

With her hair slicked back into a ponytail and oversize gold hoops dangling from her lobes, Jones modeled a look from Off-White's Resort 2018 collection. (FYI: Bella Hadid is also a major fan of the brand.) 

The look was a mashup of styles that don't always go together: there was an asymmetrical hem here, a sweeping train there, and a $655 hoodie to top it all off. So, did the overall effect work? Take a peek at the photos and collect your thoughts ...
