This Kylie Jenner and Stormi Webster-Inspired Manicure Is the Most Disturbing Thing You'll See Today
With all due respect to the nail artists, these manicures will haunt our dreams.
The Kardashian-Jenner sisters' nails are a subject of fascination. (Come on — we know we're not alone in this!) When Khloe Kardashian painted her talons with a bubble-gum hue, fans were quick to wonder if the shade had a secret meaning — and, of course, to head to their local nail salon for a quick polish change. And when Kylie Jenner posted a photo of her own manicured finger clutching her newborn's hand, the snap accrued a historical number of "likes."
So, it's no shock that KarJenner fans are painting their nails pink in droves. But for some truly avid Keeping Up With the Kardashians watchers, it's not enough to simply polish up with a pink hue. Enter Nail Sunny, a Moscow-based salon that's taking Kylie-Jenner-tribute nail art to a whole new level.
Inspired by the first public photo of little Stormi (or of her hand, anyway), the salon created a manicure that features fake plastic baby fingers clutching a replica of Kylie Jenner's finger. It's a bit hard to wrap your head around without a visual, so — if you dare — peep this clip of the manicure in action:
As you can imagine, the comments on this one were varied, and not all are positive. "Why," one Instagram user simply wrote, while another wrote: "This is one of the creepiest things I've ever seen." Yet another commenter concurred: "This is indeed a disturbing universe."
Sure, we get that the above mani is not for everyone. So, might we interest you in another nail-based salute to the Kylie Cosmetics mogul? If so, Nail Sunny can hook this up as well:
Why, yes! That is a pregnant Jenner, just lounging on a pink nail. We have to hand it to these artists: They show impressive creativity, and a strong commitment to the art of KarJenner fandom.
But, when Khloe has her little one, perhaps sending her a baby blanket would be a less, um, disturbing way to say "congrats?" Just sayin'!
