Are Your Fenty Beauty Match Stix Hard to Blend? A Lighter Can Help

Since launching Fenty Beauty last fall, Rihanna's introduced all sorts of innovative beauty products in an inclusive rainbow of shades. Now one beauty Instagrammer shared an easy way make Fenty's super-popular Match Stix product a little easier to apply. Be warned: makeup artist Innessa Pustovit's tip is a little bit dangerous.

The contour tutorial video starts out with Pustovit looking like she's about to set the beauty stick on fire with a lighter. "Why the lighter you may ask? The lighter helps the match sticks apply much softer," she writes in the caption. Apparently, this is the secret to easy blending. Pustovit says in the comments: "Goes on so much easier! I love them but they were always hard to blend!"

If you want to try it, there's one very important piece of advice to remember. "Make sure you don't apply it when the stick is still too warm, so you don't burn your face lol," Pustovit writes. Safety first!
