Alaia White Dress This dress is Annabelle’s favorite dress for all occasions. She wears it a lot because it’s classic and stylish and she always feels good in it, even if she’s having a bad day. She has worn this dress to Ascot, lunch with her Grandmother, meeting a new boyfriend’s parents, basically any event you’d like because it’s a dress that “can deal with most situations.” Annabelle bought this dress for around £2000 because she knew it would be a good investment and she would get a lot of use out of it. In Annabelle’s opinion, you’d have to go with a low or high heel with this dress, but not a mid-heel.

Alexander McQueen Bag This Alexander McQueen bag is one of Annabelle’s go-to favorite evening bags. It fits everything she needs in order to go out on the town. She loves the brown tone contrasting with the gold detail of the clasps. This is not a one-off bag, it was designed based on a knuckle-duster so it’s very heavy and is supposed to be able to be used as a weapon. It would probably cost between £3500-5000, but it was given to Annabelle by Sarah Burton. After McQueen passed, Sarah continued the tradition of sending Annabelle birthday and Christmas presents. This bag was one of those gifts.

Alexander McQueen Shooting Jacket This jacket is one of her favorite gifts from McQueen. She gets a lot of wear out of it. This was a sample jacket and is not a one-off. She loves wearing it shooting as well as casually to lunches. She loves to pair it with a fur hat. Her favorite features on the jacket are the tailoring on it, especially the tail of the jacket. This jacket probably would have cost around £2500.

Alexander McQueen Wedding Party Dress This is the dress McQueen designed and made for Annabelle to wear to the party she had at Claridges to celebrate her wedding. It was the first dress McQueen ever designed specifically for Annabelle and the first ever McQueen commission. Annabelle paid £1000 for it. She insisted she pay him because she felt it was the right thing to do. Being paid for the first time was a really big deal for McQueen and when he received the check from Annabelle, she says, "He couldn't stop staring at the check." The dress took about a month to make and was hand-stitched by McQueen himself. The dress fits Annabelle like a glove. It was based on a dress she wore for her first ever Vogue shoot. She loved that dress and expected to take the dress after the shoot was over, but the night before the shoot McQueen sprayed it silver and it shrunk so she never got to have it. Annabelle still wears this wedding party dress occasionally although she has to be careful because it’s so delicate. The last time she can remember wearing it was to Harry’s Bar.

Alexander McQueen Fur Jacket This jacket is based around the design of the bomber jacket. The garment is about 9-10 years old and was a gift from McQueen. He would quite regularly give her furs. This jacket was either a birthday or Christmas present from McQueen. Annabelle wears it a lot because it’s an “any situation” jacket. It’s a real staple item made with rabbit fur (although people always think it’s Chinchilla). She loves the thick waist band and feel of the fur. Annabelle was photographed in this jacket at a short film premiere (Katie England film) sitting next to Jamie Winston. She’ll wear it at a range of events from Glastonbury to going for lunch. It would probably cost around £11,000.

Alexander McQueen Suit This McQueen suit is from the Darwin inspired catwalk show in 2009. This was the show where McQueen dressed up as a bunny to close the show. Annabelle says it was an amazing show and they had stuffed animals all the way down the side of the runway. No one was expecting McQueen to come out as a bunny and even Annabelle was surprised by it! Annabelle remembers wanting so many of the items from the show as it was a very sexy show. She said, "Lee knew he wasn't going to get away without giving me anything." Annabelle wears this suit to parties, red carpet events, and premieres. She was photographed in this suit comforting Kate Moss at fashion show to raise money for Haiti just after McQueen’s death. She also remembers being photographed in it at a show in Paris sitting next to Beth Ditto. Annabelle loves the detail of the print on it because it looks like bones and skeleton.
