Post Kim Zolciak-Biermann Says RV Life Helped Prepare Her for the COVID-19 Lockdown
The Don't Be Tardy mom says that her six-week road trip prepped her for the unexpected events of 2020.
There's something very different about the new season of Don't Be Tardy. Instead of watching the Biermann crew live out their (sometimes wild) days in their Atlanta manse, viewers will see the gang try out life on the open road.
As you can see in the clip above, Season 8 follows Kim Zolciak-Biermann and her family on a six-week road trip across the United States. Being piled into an RV with her brood took some getting used to for Kim.
When chatting with In Touch about RV life, the "Wig" singer said: "I love being with my kids, so that was really great. The struggle was that I didn't have the luxuries that I love and need. But I made do!" Plus, she got more accustomed to the kind of lifestyle that 2020 has demanded.
"Our trip prepared us for [the COVID-19 lockdown]," Kim said. She added, "I'm a homebody, so it's been OK."
During the lockdown, Kim shared updates from her family's self-isolation. The gang stayed active by riding a bike ramp in the driveway; they also had plenty of stockpiled sweets to snack on.
