Mindy Kaling Gushes About Motherhood and the Return of Will & Grace
It all goes down in the trailer for the final season of The Mindy Project.
Mindy Kaling's small-screen alter-ego, Dr. Mindy Lahiri, is back for one last time. (Cue all the sad emojis.) On Friday (September 1), the trailer for the final season of The Mindy Project premiered and it's filled with the signature sass, wit, humor and heart that kept fans coming back for more for six seasons.
In addition to following Kaling's fashionable and witty OBGYN character one last time, the final season also includes some fun cameos from fan-favorite characters — as well as Kaling being forever excited by the latest in pop culture.
“I've got a lot to be thankful for. I got a great job, I got a great son… Will & Grace is back and bitchier than ever. I’m doing good!” she jokes. (Girl, tell us about it.)
The Mindy Project premieres on Hulu next month. Check out the trailer for the last season, below. Next up for Kaling? Well more acting, obviously, as well as motherhood. She confirmed this summer she's expecting her first child. Clearly life is now imitating art.
